  1. What she has said is true. Ite trally very hard to effect a change. In the high bride price very quickly. However, the effects should arouse us its negative influences/effects in our community, such
    1. Early marriage
    2. GBV
    3. Cattle rustling
    4. Forced marriages
    5. Marginalization of women, where they cannot easily divorce incase the partner is very hostile to them.
    6. Increased rate of girls dropping out of schools than boys.

  3. To honest, I am not against bride price because it’s part of our culture. However, our people have put it at such a high level where everyone else can not afford it. Especially in Australia. We need to think about people conditions. Some people have a large family that depends on them and the situation that we as SS are in now is not great. For me, I feel that the price need to be reduced.
